1,000 acres on Lake Erie, 2800 State Park Dr., located off I-75 at the Dixie Hwy. exit. Playground equipment, picnic shelters, restrooms, swimming beach, nature trails, fishing ponds, boat launch. See park for listing of various activities. Daily or yearly fee. Discount for senior citizens.

Pointe Mouillee State Game Area and Park
On Lake Erie off N. Dixie Hwy., Rockwood. About 2,500 acres. Nature trails and picnic facilities. No alcoholic beverages.

Petersburg State Game Area
Teal and Lulu Rds., Petersburg. 500 acres of managed game area representing one of the last Michigan sites of native wet-sand prairie habitat. Open for walking and dog runs also.

Heck Park
N. Dixie Hwy., just south of I-75, Monroe. Playground
equipment, picnic shelter, ball diamonds, restrooms.

Nike Park
Newport Rd., just west of Telegraph Rd., Carleton. Playground equipment, picnic facilities, soccer fields under construction.

Vienna Park
Vienna West Rd. between Crabb and Minx Rds., Erie. Playground equipment, picnic shelter, archery range, nature trail, Frisbee golf, ball fields.

Waterloo Park
Mulhollen Dr., off S. Custer Rd., about a half-mile west of Telegraph Rd. On the River Raisin, Playground equipment, picnic shelter, restrooms.

West County Park
Rightmire Rd. Dundee Township. River Access, Hiking, Natural Area.
